I made these beaded wire teardrop stud earrings awhile ago and finally got around to taking a photo. I tend to make earrings that have open hoops and decided to make studs for a change. These earrings are made with copper wire and Czech seed beads that have a sheen and in warm muted shades of copper, gold, green and red - lovely earthy colours, with a drop swirl accent. I'll be taking more photos and posting them to my website at the-wing-thing.square.site
I had the pleasure of this little visitor yesterday afternoon - although he didn't stay around for long. I think this is a male Autumn Meadowhawk. He is a smaller dragonfly with a red body and iridescent wings. He rested on my knee for close to a minute then flew away. It was a nice calming visit with nature that I really enjoyed.
