Little Bluff Conservation - Driftwood Teepee

Last Friday TP and I decided to take advantage of these exceptionally warm September days and packed our folding chairs into the car and drove off to Little Bluff.  We had the pebble beach to ourselves and it was fantastic.  And. to top if off, someone built these wonderful teepee sculptures out of driftwood on the beach ( I don't know if it was someone from the conservation authority or some really energetic person).  Whatever the case may be, I like it.  We had so much rain and stormy weather in the early summer that the beach must have been littered with driftwood and this is a great way to clean it up.

Sterling Silver Adjustable Feminine Flower Ring

I made this dainty flower ring using argentium sterling silver wire.  It's a twisted wire, open style adjustable ring with a feminine touch - I've included a small sterling silver flower bead.  I've listed this ring in our Etsy shop here.

August Bike Ride

Well, it certainly has been a long time since I've posted something here.  I just haven't wanted to.  I've had a strong urge to hibernate and/or withdraw since covid, Ukraine, world craziness and house renovations.  Anyway, the other day, TP and I finally got out for a bike ride this summer and it was a great ride.  I have an old HTC phone so the picture quality isn't the best, but I have a couple to post anyway.  The temperature was perfect and since it was mid week there were only a few people out on the millennium trail.  It was a peaceful ride as we passed by a newly plowed hayfield..... .....and row after row of tall corn stalks.  I don't know the name of this type of cloud, but they added to the enjoyment of the ride. The humidity has passed, the evenings are cooler, but summer is still here.  Ah, but the crickets are out and some of them are loud. “The crickets felt it was their duty to warn everybody that summertime cannot last forever.” ―E.B. Chunky Carnelian Nugget Bracelet

Chunky statement jewelry never went out of fashion. Some women love a fun, bold fashion bracelet like this bracelet that I've adorned with carnelian nuggets, Czech glass beads and Karen Hill Tribe silver charms. You can see more pics here.
