Torch Parade
Do these things light up
the sand dunes at night? As usual, it’s great to imagine that they
might... if they wanted to... if no one was looking, of course.
While the colours and overall tonality of the
picture have been enhanced, these enhancements are not dramatic and
not much more than setting the interpretation to “landscape”. The
key is that fall colors (the picture was shot in mid-October,
Sandbanks Provincial Park in Ontario) are not limited to leaves on
big maples - the little guys also get to take part in this seasonal
costume party.
And please bear in mind that if you use Internet Explorer, you won’t see the most accurate representation of these colours until Microsoft implements a colour management system. Mozilla Firefox 3 has one (via an add-on tweak). Click here to see more pictures. All photographs will be sent unmounted and unframed. For help in visualizing what this image would look liked framed, we have these examples:
1. with a simple black frame and white matte 2. black frame white matte on a wall 3. with a colour-coordinated matte and frame 4. colour matte and frame on a wall
