Singled Out - b/w with color
The B/W and color versions (click here and here) of Patti's picture show two different interpretations of this brief moment when the sun found a small hole in the forest canopy to light up what looks like an American Beech. By selectively adding color to the B/W image, a third story emerges: growth potential in the right circumstances. Even though the tree lost many branches in its striving to break out of the gloom, a couple remain where the sun manages to peek through on a regular basis. Praise in conjunction with opportunity? A school of management thinking? We think that this is our favorite version of the three and will look fantastic in your breakfast nook or den. Hey, buy all three to demonstrate the diversity of your perspectives and your fluency with metaphors. Three framed individually and mounted side-by-side would look great (sometimes called a triptych). But even more amazing - three in one frame over the living room sofa, a compelling story and conversation starter. Click here to see more pictures. All photographs will be sent unmounted and unframed. For help in visualizing what this image would look liked framed, we have these examples:
1. with a colour-coordinated matte and frame 2. colour matte and frame on a wall
