Face Shape - Remember that face shape is important when choosing your earrings.  Face shapes are grouped as oval, rectangle, round, heart and square.  An oval face shape can wear any style.  A round face should be careful when selecting a hoop or button style as they will emphasize the round shape.  To de-emphasize a round face choose square or long shapes.

A long, rectangular face should stay away from long dangling earrings and instead choose smaller studs.  Round shapes or hoops will soften square faces.  Triangular shapes are flattering to heart shaped faces as the wide base contrasts the narrow chin.
