Complete Guide to Modern Knitting and Crocheting

This 1949 book is in excellent condition (even without the dust cover).  This was my mother's - she has written her name, address and the date - May 25, 1949 - on the inside cover, back when the family lived in New York.  This is the only marking - there are no torn pages.  This book covers tools, measuring stitch gauges, basic stitches (with excellent photos and instructions).  If you're into retro/vintage styles, there are some wonderful patterns for babies, toddlers, women and men.  They range from sweaters, dresses, bathing suits, hats, gloves, etc.   $26.00 CDN.
